I got started in photography at Arizona State University in 2000. I started with the State Press, ASU's campus newspaper, in 2002, where I covered general news stories on campus, as well as ASU athletics. My primary assignment was baseball. I fell in love with sports photography here, but didn't have much of an opportunity to explore this once I graduated.
Later I began shooting for Phoenix, AZ based NPO I had been involved with for a long time, Neighborhood Ministries. Here I also had the opportunity to delve in to graphic design, creating printed collateral for the organization and its many programs.
I continued to shoot and design as a hobby ever since.
